Commentary

5 Leave a comment on paragraph 5 0 Attributed to Sir Thomas Wyatt (Rebholz 1978, 227), this poem was entered by H9 and is in italic script—a rare occurrence in this manuscript. Rebholz suggests that this poem may be part of a group of poems that were inspired by Serafino’s Canzona de la Patientia (ibid., 388, 497).
